Transportation:
The caravan then needs to be transported
to its new location, which is another specialized
service we can provide as we have our specialized
transporters.
Preparation & Repairs:
We have purpose built workshop facilities
for undertaking any repairs or preparation
work required, these repairs can be anything
from general servicing to a major overhaul
of the underside of a caravan as because
of the nature of a caravan in that it spends
most of its time static, certain valuable
parts can malfunction i.e. jacklegs ceasing
up which can cause serious problems especially
when exporting to another country, or when
you finally have the caravan in its new
location, as repairing the caravan at this
stage is much more of a task than under
controlled conditions, plus this can mean
extra time for the crane operator.
Other
services we can provide:
Very
often caravans are sold to the self builder,
requiring temporary accommodation whilst
they are in the process of building their
new home.
This side of our business can get very tricky
as every situation is never the same;
this can simply mean unloading on to a driveway,
or the use of a crane & specialist equipment
for lifting over various obstacles etc.
Specialized Caravan lifting equipment
With
the larger mobile homes simply getting from
one location to the next can be as much
a headache as the move itself, as many locations
require special permissions by the local
authority’s and require a police escort
due to the abnormal height and or width
of your mobile home, in most cases this
is not a problem as we have had the specialist
training & have the equipment required
to convince the local authority’s
that we are capable of undertaking these
task without any 3rd part involvement,
which intern can lead to a less time consuming
operation and the cost to the customer.
We also have had specialist equipment built
for the lifting purposes of caravans,
this equipment can substantially reduce
the time a crane driver is waiting around
to do his job, this also helps incases were
a road is pretty much closed off due to
the situations and can resolve such problems
& keeping them to a minimum which intern
means a better deal for the customer.
